Abstract
The control of the closing angle is simply carried out by detecting in a wide speed range of the engine a constant closing angle. For this purpose is used a control signal generator (20, 14, 16) whose short ignition timing pulses form the control signals supplied to a monostable flip-flop (T1, T2). The flip-flop interval is adjustable in dependence on the duration of the previous closing time period for the circuit breaker. This period is detected as a proportional voltage across a capacitor, whose discharge with a constant current takes place in accordance with the height of the present charging. When a voltage level is attained, at which the monostable flip-flop is reset by the ignition timing pulse in its stable state, is the contact breaker is reclosed or forward controlled if a transistor takes over the contact breaker function.
