Abstract

The steering and front suspension system for the front wheel of a motor cycle, has a hinged fixing to the frame (6) from the wheel support (26) and a shock absorber (81, 19). The hinged fixing consists of two superimposed rods (7) joined to the frame by a pivot. The two rods are virtually symmetrical with the longitudinal plan of the motor cycle. The connection between the rods and the wheel support are by ball joints giving a wide angle variation. The shock absorber is combined with a helicoidal spring. Steering is crank operated.
