Abstract

Ce crochet possède un pêne 15 chargé par un ressort 16 pour le verrouillage dans l'ouverture 7 d'une boule prévue sur la cheville d'attelage de l'instrument porté et un levier 5 pour retirer le pêne et ouvrir ainsi le crochet. L'extrémité du levier 5 qui est à l'opposé de son articulation 13 sur le pêne 15 présente un évidement 11 en U qui est ouvert vers le crochet et dont la limite latérale éloignée du pêne est orientée de manière que son prolongement coupe l'axe du pêne. En position verrouillée, le levier s'emboîte par l'évidement 11 sur une cheville 8 qui empêche que le pêne ne soit repoussé hors de l'ouverture 7, par exemple sous l'influence de mouvements de basculement de l'instrument porté, une charrue par exemple.
