Abstract

The device secures a control cable sliding in a sheath to a bracket, having a first element securing it to the sheath, and a second and separate element securing it to the bracket. The first element can be so designed as to be removable only with a special tool, and the device can comprise two arms (11, 12) folding against each other so as to grip the sheath (26, 45) and form a hole (25, 55) for the insertion of a component fixing it to the bracket. The arms can be arranged to hook or snap together, or one of them can have a thin integral tongue by which it is held to the other.
