Abstract

Procédé de préparation de compositions résineuses et nouveaux produits ainsi obtenus. Dans ce procédé, on fait réagir un polybutadiène, ayant un poids moléculaire moyen en nombre de 150 à 10 000 et au moins 80 % en poids de structure 1,4, avec un phénol en présence d'un catalyseur acide pour obtenir une composition qui se compose d'un produit d'addition polybutadiène-phénol et de phénol n'ayant pas réagi, dans ce produit d'addition polybutadiène-phenol, une molécule de phénol pour 3 à 8 unités de butadiène étant ajoutée au polybutadiène, et on fait réagir la composition d'un produit d'addition polybutadiènephénol avec un formaldéhyde, en présence d'un catalyseur basique. La présente invention est particulièrement utile pour fournir des compositions résineuses employées pour la preparation de feuilles stratifiées ayant d'excellentes caractéristiques de cuisson, en particulier d'excellentes caractéristiques électriques, une excellente aptitude à la perforation ou au poinçonnage et une excellente flexibilité.
