Abstract

L'invention concerne un bac d'électrolyse comprenant un récipient à électrolyte 1, plusieurs électrodes 3, 5 en forme de plaques disposées à l'intérieur du récipient et des éléments 4, 6 de connexion des électrodes à une source de courant électrique. Il est caractérisé en ce que les éléments connectés à au moins un pôle de la source sont soudés, par soudage à l'arc sous atmosphère gazeuse, soit à une paroi de titane 1, 2 du bac d'électrolyse sur la face de cette paroi opposée aux électrodes de titane 3, soit directement à ces électrodes de titane 3, 5. Application aux bacs d'électrolyse, notamment pour la production par voie électrolytique de chlore et d'hypochlorates et de chlorates de soude.
