Abstract

The conveyer has an endless belt (5) running on rollers. Mounted in rows of three with the central roller horizontal and the side rollers are upward sloping. The sides of the belt are fitted with an extra curved edge (7) consisting of an inner ribbon (7a) support by a loop (6). The side strip increases the belt capacity. The strip is flexible in the longitudinal direction to follow the path of the belt.
