Dispositif de soudure à courant continu. Il comprend un redresseur 1 connecté à une source de courant alternatif, un convertisseur de fréquence 2, 3 connecté au redresseur, un second redresseur 4 connecté au convertisseur de fréquence, un dispositif d'amortissement 5 connecté au second redresseur ou à une borne de sortie du convertisseur de fréquence 3 et une unité de commande 6 qui commande ledit convertisseur de fréquence en fonction du courant et de la tension de soudure. Application notamment à la soudure à l'arc.
