Abstract
L'invention concerne un gyroscope à laser avec une boucle à verrouillage de phase couplée à la sortie d'une cavité. Un signal de différence de fréquence est produit entre deux faisceaux de sortie de la cavité. La phase de ce signal est comparée avec celle d'une horloge de référence pour produire un signal représentant le déphasage entre ces derniers signaux. Les signaux produits sont amplifiés et appliqués à une bobine qui produit un champ dans un rotateur de Faraday disposé dans le trajet des ondes du laser. L'invention s'applique à un gyroscope à laser de très grande précision et de très grande résolution.
