Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de soudage d'un tube en titane dans une plaque tubulaire en titane. Le procédé est caractérisé en ce qu'on fixe par expansion l'extrémité du tube en titane dans un trou ménagé dans la plaque, en ce qu'on engage dans le tube un mandrin comportant une collerette intermédiaire venant s'appliquer contre la surface de la plaque et pourvue d'une encoche où on vient engager une électrode, espacée d'une distance prédéterminée du tube en titane et de laquelle jaillit l'arc de soudage du tube et de la plaque. Application aux centrales nucléaires.
