Abstract

The heel clamp (6) of a ski boot has two lateral stays, joining it to a plate (2). The clamp has two lateral cheeks (28), acting as cams, joined to the stays and connected by a transversal axle (16). The axle passes through two oval holes (15) in the main tubular body (7) of the clamp and through a piston (17) in the body. The pressure on the piston is adjusted by a coil spring which is controlled by a lever (31) which pivots around an axle (14) and has studs (33) fitting into notches (29) in the cheeks.
