Abstract
The device is for construction of a trench in which a pipe-line or cable is to buried. This involves a series of shovel or scoop-type collectors (13), and drive units (M) to move these, in the form of a continuous mechanism (2, 3). These combine to lift a trench when the assembly is in motion. The scoops can be on a circular wheel with all open jaws facing in the same peripheral direction. The wheel is pref. on a skid-mounted frame (23). This can be operated on any type of ground, or under water.
