Abstract
La présente invention concerne un joint universel homocinétique du type coulissant. Ce joint universel homocinétique du type coulissant comportant un élément extérieur 1 présentant une surface interne cylindrique 2 entourant un élément intérieur 4 présentant une surface externe sphérique 3 et un élément-cage 7 monté sur l'élément intérieur et présentant une surface interne sphérique 5 et une surface externe sphérique 6 qui sont excentrées l'une par rapport à l'autre, l'élément-cage 7 étant muni de plusieurs billes 9 montées dans des fenêtres 8, les billes étant en engagement avec les paires correspondantes de gorges de guidage 10, 11 de direction axiale prévues dans les surfaces se faisant face mutuellement de l'élément extérieur 1 et de l'élément intérieur 4 comporte un élément de guidage annulaire 16 comportant une surface interne sphérique 16 et une surface externe cylindrique 15 monté de manière à être interposé entre l'élément-cage 7 et l'élément extérieur 1. Ce joint est utilisé sur les véhicules automobiles du type à moteur avant et traction avant.
