Abstract

The bicycle saddle support has the concave portions of the cylindrical jaws(3, 4) towards the undersie. This distorted portion has an upper curved section(8), whose axis is parallel to that of the cylinder along which the top of the tube is cut away. The top jaw can have a sleeve portion(22) fitting in an opening in the bottom one so as to leave a relatively small clearance.
