Abstract

The connector has a pair of spring fingers (4) at one end to contact a corresponding connector and a pair of spring contact jaws (9) at the other to contact an inserted wire biting through its insulation. The wire is pressed into a slot (10) just before the jaws and then into the slot between the jaws (5, 6). The advantage lies in the connector's automatically stripping part of the inserted wire.
