Abstract

The hydraulic press for bending sheet metal has a frame (1) to which a table (2) is fixed. There is also a vertically movable table (4) which can be raised to the first table. Two hydraulic rams (4a, 4b) operate the moving table, each ram being fed by a pump and distributor. The distributors are connected by a mechanical synchronising device. Parallelism between the two tables is effected automatically. The mountings are in a swan neck shape and are on rigid plates.
