a. Installation optique et électronique pour lire des informations se trouvant sur un support d'informations. b. Installation caractérisée en ce que sur le support d'informations sont disposées au moins deux pistes comportant une répartition de champ clair-obscur avec des têtes de lecture disposées de façon correspondante, tandis que pour saisir le modèle réel de chiffres binaires ainsi que pour l'autocadencement, la disposition de la répartition de champ clair-obscur sur au moins l'une des pistes, est attaquée de façon telle que pour chaque chiffre binaire d'information devant être lu, une modification simultanée de la répartition de champ clair-obscur est prévue en ce qui concerne l'étendue de cadencement. c. L'invention peut notamment être appliquée au contrôle des pièces d'identité.
