Abstract

Cette invention concerne un ventilateur entraîné par un moteur et monté dans un carter. L'arbre de sortie 14 du moteur 12 porte, de part et d'autre de ce moteur, un rotor de ventilateur 16, 18. Le moteur et les rotors sont montés chacun dans des compartiments séparés du carter 10. Celui-ci est subdivisé selon un plan horizontal coïncidant avec l'arbre de sortie 14 du moteur pour faciliter l'entretien. Un canal de passage d'air 66, 68, 70 servant au refroidissement du moteur s'étend depuis la sortie de chaque compartiment contenant un rotor jusqu'au compartiment du moteur. Cet agencement assure un refroidissement efficace du moteur du ventilateur.
