Abstract

Procédé pour la préparation de combustibles d'une masse volumique élevée. On chauffe un mélange de dimère de cyclopentadiène et de dimère de méthylcyclopentadiène à une température suffisante pour causer la formation importante du trimère de Diels-Alder des cyclopentadiènes monomères, et on sature par l'hydrogène le produit de trimérisation oléfiniquement non saturé. De tels combustibles sont importants, par exemple, comme combustibles pour certains avions à réaction militaires qui ont une capacité limitée de stockage de combustible.
