Abstract

Procédé et appareil pour la répartition sensiblement uniforme de fibres sur une surface plane limitée. L'appareil se déplace suivant la longueur de la surface. Les fibres sont d'abord coupées en longueur appropriée et tombent dans une hotte à trois chambres successives. La première chambre reçoit les fibres coupées. La deuxième chambre les disperse suivant une matrice aléatoire uniforme sur la largeur du lit, par création d'une turbulence. La troisième chambre reçoit les fibres dispersées et les isole de la turbulence. Les fibres tombent avec une répartition uniforme sur la largeur désirée de la surface, par une ouverture de longueur réglable, pendant le déplacement de l'appareiL L'invention s'applique particulièrement à la fabrication de série de plaques en ciment renforcé par des fibres de verre.
