Abstract

La présente invention concerne les emballages à flancs rapportés et, plus particulièrement, les emballages ouverts du type cageot. Un tel emballage est réalisé mécaniquement par mise en forme d'un flanc principal 100 prédécoupé de façon à ménager aux coins supérieurs de l'emballage des parties 8, 8' saillantes par rapport au profil général de l'ouverture d'accès de l'emballage pour former des cornières pour le gerbage des emballages, des ouvertures 9 formées par découpe dans les coins inférieurs de l'emballage étant adaptées aux dimensions des cornières 8, 8' pour recevoir ces dernières, les flancs rapportés 200 étant doublés par pliage avec refoulage simple, d'un flan symétrique pour présenter une forme trapézoïdale, la petite base 45 45' étant dirigée vers le haut de façon que les parois latérales 2, 3 de l'emballage convergent légèrement vers le haut. Application notamment à l'entreposage et à la manutention des fruits et agrumes.
