Elle comprend de 40,0 à 54,0 % de TiO2 , de 24,0 à 44,0 % de BaO, de 5,0 à 15,0 % de ZnO, de 3,0 à 13,0 % de ZrO2 , de 0,2 à 3,0 % de CaO, de 0,2 à 3,0 % de MgO, de 0,2 à 2,0 % de SiO2 , de 0,1 à 0,5 % de Na2 O et/ou de K2 O, le poids total de ces constituants représentant plus de 98,0 % de la composition, celle-ci ne contenant pratiquement pas de B2 O3 . c. Industrie du verre, notamment préparation de verres catadioptriques.
