Abstract

The support element(10) is in the form of a four pronged clip. two clips being used to support the electrical component. the clips(10) are fitted into an insulated plane base plate having two printed circuit conductors(23A) on it. Each conductor(23A) has one hole drilled into it, aligned with these holes are other two holes which are drilled through insulated base plate. The distance between the centres of a pair of holes, printed circuit conductor, base plate, is equal to the centres of two prongs of the clips. Thus the clips are fitted to the base plate by pressing their lower prongs into the holes.
