Abstract

Détecteur électronique de la teneur en oxygène des gaz brûlés d'un moteur thermique, comprenant deux électrodes disposées à la surface d'un corps de céramique poreuse constituée d'oxyde de zirconium stabilisée à l'oxyde d'yttrium à des teneurs comprises entre 8 et 14 %, caractérisé par le fait que l'on utilise une électrode conductrice ne présentant pas d'activité catalytique, en argent ou en or, et une électrode catalytique constituée par du platine poreux, ou mieux par du platine rhodié à 20 % également poreux et d'une épaisseur comprise entre 0,5 et 2 mu , ces électrodes étant toutes deux disposées dans le courant des gaz brûlés, la mesure de la richesse de carburation étant effectuée par mesure de la différence de potentiel entre l'électrode présentant une activité catalytique notable et celle qui n'en présente pas.
