Abstract

Ce produit métallurgique tel que tôle, feuillard, barre, fil, possédant une composition qui le rend difficile à travailler, par exemple un alliage d'acier contenant du bore ou un oxyde réfractaire ou une forte proportion de carbone, est obtenu sous une forme facile à travailler et qui peut être transformée par laminage à chaud ou à froid, étirage, +etc, par le procédé suivant lequel on remplit d'une poudre de la matière difficile à travailler un conteneur formé de la même matière mais dépourvu de l'agent fragilisant (bore, oxyde réfractaire, carbone) on comprime avec une pression suffisante pour établir une liaison métallurgique entre la masse de poudre et la paroi du conteneur puis on travaille l'ensemble obtenu comme une billette. Le produit obtenu comprend un noyau B fait de matière fragile reuni à un placage A fait d'une matière ductile. La réference C désigne l'interfeace.
