Abstract
Alliage d'aluminium contenant 1,0-5,0 % en poids de magnésium, 0,3-1,0 % en poids de lithium, jusque 1 % en poids manganèse, jusque 0,45 % en poids de fer, jusque 0,45 % en poids de de silicium, jusque 0,4 % en poids de cuivre, jusque 0,4 % en poids de chrome, jusque 0,3 % en poids de titane, jusque 0,3 % en poids de zinc, jusque 0,3 % en poids de nickel, jusque 0,20 % en poids de vanadium et jusque 0,15 % en poids de zirconium, le solde essentiellement en aluminium. Cet alliage présente une bonne malléabilité, une résistance mécanique élevée et convient au mieux pour le soudage par résistance électrique. Il peut donc être utilisé en particulier pour la fabrication de pièces de carrosserie pour moyens de transport Un procédé pour l'élaboration de demi-produit de cet alliage comporte essentiellement les stades coulée, homogénéisation, formage à chaud par laminage, formage à froid par laminage et revenu.
