Outil tranchant d'un dispositif à faucher comprenant un support 22 de disques d'entraînement d'une bande de tranchants dont l'un 25 est entraînant et l'autre 29 est positionné sous la contrainte de ressorts 49 et une bande sans fin non métallique et flexible 32 comportant des tranchants 31 et entraînée par les disques. b. Il est caractérisé en ce que le support des deux disques est relié de manière amovible avec le bâti du dispositif à faucher 10 mobile supportant le moteur d'entraînement de la bande 32, et la bande est une courroie trapézoïdale 32 constituée par des éléments superposables 50 comme des écailles et reliés les uns aux autres par des rivets métalliques, et que les tranchants 31 présentent chacun une plaque 40 qui est insérée entre deux eléments 50 et qui est fixée solidement aux éléments par deux rivets adjacents. c.
