Abstract
L'invention concerne le vernissage de matériaux en bande. On utilise des rayons ultraviolets pour le séchage du vernis. Le vernis est appliqué sur la face extérieure d'un tambour rotatif en quartz, et/ou à la surface de la bande à traiter, après l'application du vernis la bande est pressée contre la surface du tambour, l'irradiation UV destinée à provoquer le séchage du vernis s'opère à travers la paroi du tambour en quartz et la bande est après traitement dégagée par traction du tambour. Application : vernissage du papier, du carton.
