Abstract

The buckle for fastening straps, belts, or similar articles consists of a body (1) in which a mobile part (7) is articulated to form, with the body, the two jaws of a grip. One extremity (10b) of the strap is fixed to the mobile part between the axle of articulation (6) of this on the body and the toothed extremity (9) which forms the grip. The strap (10) is passed under the axle in front of its fixing to the mobile part. The mobile part has a tongue or strap (13) fixed to the top of it at the same point at which the strap is fixed by a rivet (12).
