Abstract

A domestic seed mill comprises a housing open at the top. Two rollers are mounted in the housing about horizontal axes offset from each other, both horizontally and vertically. Peripheral surfaces of the rollers have helical teeth formed as grooves having the cross-section of a right-angled triangle. The right angle is at the surface of the roller. Two straight sides of the triangle are recessed below the peripheral surfaces of the rollers to define the grooves. The apex of the triangle is formed at the intersection of these two straight sides and is made arcuate. The rollers are rotated in opposite senses.
