Abstract

The telescopic television set stand of the main patent, has a shallow open container (14) at the ends of its arms, corresponding to the position of the feet on the corners of the underside of the TV set. They may be round in shape or square, according to the shape of the set. The vertical centre floor support column (6) has a central rectangular horizontal flat support plate (5). To each of its short sides is attached a hollow square metal support tube (4) which can be telescopically extended at each end (3). These extensions (3) carry similar but longer telescopic square tubes (1, 2) at right angles. These adjust to the width of the TV set. Their extensions (7) carry the flat bottomed cups, round or square, but always shallower than the feet of a receiver set (14, 15) into which the feet of the receiver are fitted for firm support.
