Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé pour séparer les résidus gras des catalyseurs en substances solides. Ce procédé s'appliquant notamment aux catalyseurs de nickel pour l'hydrogenation des graisses se caractérise en ce que pour former un extrait facilement filtrable et exempt de composants colloïdaux dispersés, le catalyseur est soumis à un processus d'extraction à l'aide d'un solvant, avec de l'iso-propyl-alcool. Le solvant est formé d'un mélange de 0 à 20 % d'eau et de 100 à 80 % d'iso-propyl-alcool. Ce procédé permet un recyclage de catalyseurs déjà utilisés.
