Abstract

The refrigerating system for milk storage vessel (14) has heat recovery system. This heat is used for producing hot water used for cleaning of the milk treatment plant and the storage vessel. The total energy used for operating a milk treatment plant is utilised efficiently. The refrigerant condenser is used for water heating in heat exchanger (7). The heated water is used for cleaning purposes. The heat exchanger is connected in series with the air circulation heat exchanger. The air circulation is regulated by temp. and pressure conditions of the refrigerant. The evaporator of the refrigerator is in heat exchange contact with the milk (13) in the vessel (14).
