Abstract

The spraying lance for surface treatment, agricultural spraying ect., and designed for use with hot water, is fitted with a multi-purpose handle whose position can be varied to suit the operation being carried out. The handle incorporates a valve which is operated by a trigger (26) inside the handle grip. At one end is a connection (20) for supply of treatment medium, and at the other end are two outlet connections (36, 38) for attachment of the lance (40). One outlet (36) can form a straight through connection, and the other (38) is on a branch channel (34) so that the handle can be secured in alternate positions, one nearly at right angles to the other. A plug (42) blocks off the outlet not required. At the junction, a changeover valve can be fitted.
