Abstract

L'invention concerne un connecteur de fibres optiques pour le raccordement bout à bout de câbles à fibre optique individuelle comportant une fibre optique, un fourreau de fibre, une enveloppe, une virole pour retenir la fibre optique et son fourreau, et un manchon pour retenir l'enveloppe. Selon l'invention, le connecteur comprend un manchon de retenue fileté extérieurement sur ladite virole, un manchon d'ajustement fileté intérieurement et deux demi-coquilles, ledit manchon d'ajustement étant capable de mettre l'extrémité de la fibre optique de niveau avec la face extrême de la virole après sertissage de l'enveloppe sur cette dernière. Application aux liaisons par fibres optiques.
