Abstract

The float is saucer shaped and has a central foot rest which carries a short mast (7) as well as the lee boards which are hinged together and act as rudders. The mast is topped by a central horizontal yard. The yard is fitted with two edge fins (5a) and (5b) which support the sides of the square rigged sail (4). The top corners of the sail are guyed down two guys (13a, b) to the rear end of a platform which overhangs the side of the float. The sheets (9a, b) are led to guides inside the float and held by the crew.
