Abstract

The air-conditioning system is for use in premises with an air-to-air heat pump and two heat exchangers, one acting as a vapouriser and the other as a condenser, and separated by a compressor and an expansion unit. Through one of the exchangers there are simultaneously passed a preset quantity of fresh external air, and air exhausted from the premises. A second preset quantity of fresh external air is passed through the other exchanger simultaneously with a preset quantity of air from the premises in which air-conditioning is to take place. The latter air, and the fresh air, are delivered into the premises.
