Abstract

Procédé de préparation d'une résine d'imprégnation par condensation de melamine, de formaldéhyde aqueux et d'agents modificateurs, à un pH compris entre 8 et 10 et à une température comprise entre 80 et 100 degrés C, jusqu'à une compatibilité avec l'eau dans un rapport compris entre 1/1 et 1/1,5, le rapport molaire entre la mélamine et le formaldéhyde étant réglé entre 1/1,5 et 1/3,5. Selon l'invention, on ajoute comme agents modificateurs, de façon connue, avant, pendant ou apres la condensation, de l' epsilon -caprolactame et de la thio-urée dans une proportion de chaque fois 0,5 à 15 % en poids et, additionnnemement, 0,25 à 5 % en poids d'un hydrogenosulfite, sulfite, dithionite ou sulfoxylate, calculés en sel de sodium, les proportions se rapportant dans chaque cas à la somme des quantités de mélamine et de formaldéhyde.
