Abstract

The device comprises a pump which has an actuating member (4) which can be pressed downwards, a two-part pump piston (5, 6) with a valve (13) mounted on the inner piston (6) and a pump cylinder (7) into which the intake line (15) for the nebuliser liquid opens out. Furthermore, a reservoir (22) closed by a valve (21) is connected to the pump cylinder (7). The liquid taken in each time the pump piston (5, 6) is raised is pressed into the reservoir (22) the next time the pump piston is moved downwards, which reservoir expands elastically counter to the effect of a spring (23). For nebulising, the actuating member (4) is moved down completely; the valve (13) on the pump piston (5, 6) opens the reservoir valve (21) and is thereby opened itself. By virtue of the spring (23), the entire reservoir contents can escape via an annular gap (8) and the spraying nozzle (10). By virtue of the reservoir (22), a multiple of the pump volume can be sprayed at one time.
