Abstract

A container holds liquid and is made from a resin coated cardboard. The assembly includes four bottom parts (6, 7, 8, 9) which are joined together along extended folding lines between four side parts (1, 2, 3, 4). The bottom parts (6, 7, 85, 9) join the corresponding side parts (1, 2, 3, 4,) along folding lines. One set of opposite bottom parts (6, 7, 8, 9) forms in the four side parts (1, 2, 3, 4) a bottom surface and its end sections which are overlapping are joined and sealed together by heating. The other set of the opposite bottom parts (6, 7, 8, 9) have sections which are sufficiently wide for hot sealing on both sides. They are folded about a line projecting at an angle of 45 deg. from an apex of the corner section. Between both sets of the bottom parts (6, 7, 8, 9) are positioned flaps (6c, 8c) which are inserted from both end surfaces of the taken out section formed on the inner middle section of the bottom surface of the container.
