Abstract

The ear-plugs are used by a person sitting under a hair drier, to shut out the noise of the hair drying machinery. Each of the ear-plugs is connected via a flexible tube to a listening cone and has a channel for guiding the sound picked up by the tube into the person's ear. The tubes (1, 2) from the two ear-plugs may be joined together, with a third common tube (4) connected to a single listening cone (5), or each tube may have its own listening cone at the end, with an intermediate bridge element coupling the tubes together. One of the tubes (1, 2) may incorporate a radio receiver e.g. positioned at the junction (3) of the two tubes (1, 2).
