Abstract

Structure déformable pour pneumatiques de sécurité. Cette structure comprend une bande annulaire 2 et des corps creux fermés 3, fixés à la surface extérieure de la bande, alignés le long du développement de cette surface et qui contiennent un fluide gazeux à une pression supérieure à la pression atmosphérique mais au plus égale à la pression de gonflage de l'enveloppe. Avant montage, dans la structure à la pression atmosphérique, les corps creux 3 se dilatent et tendent la bande annulaire 2, celle-ci possède un développement supérieur à celui du rebord de la jante, ce qui facilite le montage; lorsque le pneumatique est gonflé, la pression de gonflage comprime les corps creux de sorte que la bande 2 peut se détendre et s'appuyer sur la base de la jante. En cas de crevaison, la structure s'appuie contre la surface inférieure du pneumatique.
