Abstract

The shower-rose-adaptor fits between a flexible hose and a handled mobile rose and enables shampoos or other products to be mixed with the water. The adaptor uses a reduction effect to draw a mixture of shampoo and air into the passing water from diametrically opposed projecting capsules (25, 27). The unit comprises a double-socket (11, 12) coupler (10) with a central axial zone step-reduced in internal dia. A reducer button (15) with two assymetric flanges (15, 18) fits in the reduced zone to create an annular volume (19) which communicates with the two capsules (25, 27). The leading lesser flange (18) of the button (15) fits tightly in the reduced zone and is perforated (20).
