Abstract

a. L'invention concerne un article renforcé en bois et un procédé pour renforcer et notamment améliorer le coefficient d'élasticité et la résistance à la flexion d'articles en bois. b. Le procédé consiste à imprégner ces articles, sur au moins une certaine profondeur du bois, dont ils sont constitués, au moyen d'une matière plastique liquide qui est alors durcie dans les pores du bois. c. Le procédé est particulièrement applicable au renforcement d'articles de sport en bois, notamment de raquettes de tennis.
