Abstract
Fonte austénitique ayant un coefficient de dilatation thermique compris entre 16,0 et 21,0 x 10**-6/ degrés C entre 20 et 100 degrés C et ayant une résistance à l'usure et une résistance mécanique correspondant à celles de l'alliage de fonte grise -NiCuCr 15 6 2. Sa composition est la suivante : plus de 6,0 à moins de 8,0 % de Ni; 1,5 à 4,0 % de C; 0,5 à 4,0 % de Si; 4,0 à 14,0 % de Mn; 0,3 à 7,0 % de Cu; moins de 2,0 % de Cr; 0,3 à 8,0 % de Al; 0,01 à 0,5 % de Ti; le reste étant du Fe avec les impuretés habituelles de fabrication. Cet alliage, dont la teneur en nickel est relativement basse et qui est donc relativement bon marché, convient particulièrement bien à la réalisation des armatures des gorges de pistons en aluminium de moteurs à combustion interne.Austenitic cast iron having a coefficient of thermal expansion between 16.0 and 21.0 x 10 ** - 6 / degrees C between 20 and 100 degrees C and having wear resistance and mechanical strength corresponding to those of gray cast iron alloy -NiCuCr 15 6 2. This alloy, the nickel content of which is relatively low and which is therefore relatively inexpensive, is particularly suitable for the production of the armatures of the aluminum piston grooves of internal combustion engines.
