Abstract

In a recording process using laser radiation free of UV component the photosensitive material comprises a support coated with a photosensitive layer contg. >25 wt.% negatively operating diazo cpd. (I) and a binder. The laser source is pref. an argon ion laser. (I) is pref. a condensn. prod. of a diazonium salt, e.g. the condensn. prod. of 3-methoxydiphenylamine-4-diazonium with bis-(4-methoxymethylphenyl)-ether. Partic. for prodn. of printing plates. The material requires an acceptable exposure time.
