Abstract

The resilient shaft coupling for vehicle drive shafts has a polygonal rubber body provided with metal sleeves (10) by which the body is secured to an adjacent structure. Each sleeve is pot-shaped and has a toroidally rounded bottom end (12) provided with a central hole for a headed bolt (8). The inside dia. of the sleeve is slightly larger than the head (11) of the bolt. Alternatively, the central hole has a thread for a screw, in which case the inside dia. of the sleeve is slightly larger than the outside dia. of the screw thread. Pref. the thickness of the bottom is larger than the remaining wall.
