Abstract

The fastener consists of a thin metal base in the form of 270 deg. of an annulus with a stud, perpendicular to this base, at one end of the part annulus. the base is slightly helical in a direction opposite to that of the stud. The free end of the fastener is fitted through a hole in the panel, whose diameter is slightly larger than the breadth of the annulus, and the fastener is rotated so as to pass the majority of its base through the hole. The helical form pulls the stud firmly against the panel.
