Abstract

Vehicle tyre attachment for assisting driving in snow is designed to be readily and quickly fitted. It has a flexible mounting with a rigid reinforcement which is fitted over the wheel hub. The mounting provides a fixing for holders. Flexible arms with hooked ends have their shafts located in the holders from which they can be extended so that the ends fit around the tread surface of the tyres. The complete unit can be operated without having to move the vehicle and can be matched to any size of vehicle tyre by changing the arms.
