Abstract

A hermetic safety closure for bottles or similar containers consists of a cap screwed on a threaded neck of a bottle. The cap is provided at its bottom part with a sealing safety ring (6) which is detachable along a weakness line. The safety ring of the cap and the bottle neck are interlocked in one direction to permit screwing up of the cap on the bottle neck. Before the cap is unscrewed from the bottle neck its sealing safety ring which is locked in the unscrewing direction behind interlocking teeth of the bottle neck has to be broken off the cap along the weakness line.
